Create the Vision’s Implementation Task Force has endorsed the plan for a user-friendly, multi-use trail system throughout the City of Centerville and Washington Township.
The plan was proposed by a joint Centerville-Washington Park District, City of Centerville, Washington Township group that has been meeting since October, 2003.
The plan is scheduled to go to the Park District, the city and township for adoption.
Designed to foster community connectivity while promoting alternative modes of transportation, the trails will enhance the physical fitness and improve the quality of life for local citizens. The trails will connect specific points of interest in the community and be coordinated with regional trails.
Implementation of the Multi-use Trail Plan will begin once it has been adopted by the Park District, the city and township.
